Vero - Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, buying a subscription or credits, or using Vero, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, and the Biometric Policy when verification features are used. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You may use Vero only if you:
- are at least 18 years old;
- are legally allowed to use the service;
- have not been previously banned from Vero; and
- are not required to register as a sex offender.
You must provide accurate registration and profile information.
3. Accounts
- One account per person unless Vero expressly allows otherwise.
- You are responsible for your sign-in credentials and activity on your account.
- Your profile must describe you honestly. Fake profiles, impersonation, duplicate accounts, and attempts to bypass verification or moderation are prohibited.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Vero to:
- break the law or violate another person’s rights;
- harass, threaten, stalk, hate, dox, or repeatedly contact someone after they disengage;
- post or send nudity, sexually explicit content, sexualized content involving minors, graphic violence, or exploitative content;
- scam, spam, solicit money, run commercial promotions, or commit fraud; or
- evade bans, safety restrictions, or other platform controls.
Use of Vero is also subject to the Community Guidelines.
5. Paid Features
Vero may offer subscriptions and one-time paid features such as credits. Prices and included features are shown in the app.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancel through the platform that billed you. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Credits and partially used billing periods are generally not refundable unless required by law or the applicable app store’s rules.
- Apple App Store and Google Play may apply their own billing, renewal, and refund terms.
6. Privacy and Verification
Your use of Vero is subject to the Privacy Policy. Verification features are also subject to the Biometric Policy. If you choose to complete biometric verification, you must affirmatively consent before capture begins.
7. Suspension and Termination
Vero may warn, restrict features, remove content, suspend accounts, or ban users that violate these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or platform safety rules. You may stop using Vero and delete your account at any time. Some safety, fraud, payment, and legal records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy and Biometric Policy.
8. Disclaimers
Vero is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee matches, compatibility, uninterrupted availability, or the identity or conduct of every user. Use caution when interacting with other users online or offline.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vero will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Vero’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid Vero in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a formal claim, contact legal@vero.dating so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
To the extent permitted by law, unresolved disputes will be handled on an individual basis through binding arbitration or eligible small claims court, and not as a class, collective, or representative action.
